Who will replace Ryan Nelsen?

I'm finding it hard to remember a defender to have such an impact in such a short space of time as Ryan Nelsen! The New Zealand Captain has been an absolute rock at the heart of the QPR defence; he hasn't even played thirty games and yet it feels as if he's been with us for a couple of years. My only wish is that we had signed him earlier in his career! Management beckons for the no nonsense centre back so who can take his place?

Now we all know that Harry Redknapp likes to wheel and deal and I'm sure he has one or two pokers in the fire but as we all know deals don't always come off so the question is do we have a replacement already at the club?

I don't see why Nedum Onouha can't be given a chance. In all honesty it was one of Mark Hughes' better buys and he was brought in to cover the back four in all positions. He has played mostly right back for us and hasn't really had a chance to shine in the centre.

He has the speed and arial ability to compete with centre forwards and he does what every good centre back does and that's go in fully committed!

The question mark I have is his talking to other players; he needs a louder voice or if he has one to use it!

Now my second choice is someone that I don't know what has happened to; Anton Ferdinand has played some good games for us; most notably against Chelsea which will sadly be remembered for John Terry's racist outburst. I don't know if the Court case had an affect on his playing or it was coincidental that it happened around the same time but his form has seriously dropped. Maybe Harry can do a job on him like he's done on SWP?

We all have to remember that Harry Redknapp is a very good Manager and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Mbia was paired with Clint Hill.

After writing all that I still think Harry has one or two lined up, the question is who?
