Which QPR legend would you choose as next coach for Harry; Youth or experience?

We all knew that Steve McClaren was only here short term and I'd like to thank him for his efforts, turning a bad defense into a tight unit had a lot to do with the new Derby County boss. It leaves a coaching position opening and I couldn't think of two better qualified coaches than two former players that have blue and white running through their veins.

The first candidate is already working with the youth team at Loftus Road; as a player he had blue and white hair he loves the Hoops that much! I am of course on about Marc Bircham, a fans' favourite without a doubt! It was rumoured he was in the running for the Millwall job in the Summer but thankfully he stayed with the Hoops. It's a testament to the work that both Steve Gallen and Marc have put in that Harry Redknapp can choose youth players for the first team. Players like Max Ehmer, Tom Hitchcock, Mo Shariff, Frankie Sutherland and Michael Harriman to name just a few of the players knocking on the door.

Harry would have to consider the experience of the former midfielder; is he what Harry is looking for or would he rather go for a more mature candidate with bucket loads of knowledge , both about the game and the club itself?

The second person that I think could apply is a former England Captain; at the age of just eighteen! He Captained the mighty Hoops in the Seventies, playing alongside such greats as Phil Parkes and Stan Bowles. Sadly for the game and football fans he suffered with injuries which made him give up playing. He cut his teeth as a Manager at Bristol Rovers before returning to Loftus Road as the gaffer, a job he managed to do twice.

To the more mature Rangers fan Gerry Francis was the perfect midfielder; his reading and understanding of the game he took into coaching. Last season he was at Stoke; he's available!

Now knowing Harry he'll have something up his sleeve but if it's a coach that is passionate about the game as well as the Hoops he doesn't need to look futher than these two; which one to choose is his job!
