Two out of two and plenty of transfer movement

So after two games played we are unbeaten; scoring four and conceding just the one goal. We even won a Cup game! So is it time to get excited? At the moment I'm just getting used to winning again, a very nice habit to have.

It's not only the winning but the way we are playing; as a team! The fighting spirit they have for each other is there for all to see; at last we have a squad of players that are ready to give it all for the cause. As fans we can't ask for much more.

The only change from the team that won against Sheffield Wednesday will be at left back, Suk-Young coming in for Traore who has a calf injury. I think Harry will persist with Bobby Zamora up front with Andy Johnston as his partner. The partnership I'd like to see is Johnston and Charlie Austin! They are both natural goalscorers and would frighten any defence in the league.

We all know that Harry Redknapp likes to wheel and deal and this week saw Gary O'Neil join us on a one year deal while Adel moved to Fulham on loan for a year; he is getting his own team together. In my humble opinion I don't think the gaffer rates Adel, getting him to play for another club might get us a better price.

A midfielder I was sorry to see go, even if it's just a month, is Shaun Derry. He plays the game the right way, he wants to win every ball and his love for the game is there for all to see.

I think the club should offer him a player/coach role; the younger members of the team can learn an awful lot from the silver fox.

Just like every other fan I'd love it if we signed Andros Townsend; he certainly showed us his talent last season. Defoe and Parker will be hard to get but never forget the 'Harry factor', if anyone can get them to sign it will be him.

I like the way we are heading, the freefall has stopped and it looks like we have direction; more importantly we have a man in charge that has a plan and players that are listening! Onward and upward!
