It's only Millwall

There is one thing the players need to realize when they take to the field on Saturday afternoon; it's just another game.

Yes it's a London derby and yes the home fans will make it intimidating; stick to the game plan and all three points should be in the bag!

It's just another one of the away grounds we have to go to; everyone wants to beat the top teams and with our start they should want it even more!

If the players, even one or two of them, let the occasion get to them it could be a very long afternoon.

Tom Carroll is out after he injured his ankle with the U21's in midweek but with respect it's our strongest area in terms of players.

A substitute from the last game may take his place at the New Den; the outstanding Junior Hoilett.

At last we are beginning to see just what a talented player he is. He cuts through home defences like a knife through butter; the only way to stop him sometimes is to bring him down! He will give the Lions' defence loads of problems and I think they will double up on him; that will free up other players which can only be a good thing.

If we can score an early goal it will shatter the home team's confidence and it will silence the crowd.

The one thing the crowd from South London don't like is the away side 'keeping ball' and we know how good we are at it.

Our possession stat is very impressive; 58.55%! Of course it's the best in the league and just shows the work the whole team has put in.

It's thirty years in management for the Gaffer and I can see us taking all three points; let's hope we carry on with the unbeaten run and the clean sheet record! Chelsea and Leeds currently are joint holders with nine sheets; let's try and equal it then set a new one!
