A fan's view of the fans forum‏

It doesn't matter when I head to Loftus Road I always get excited; it has that effect on me!
After having our names ticked off, I headed for the lift, Harry Redknapp was only in there but on crutches, seems his knee isn't as good as we all hoped. Never one to pass up an opportunity I asked about a replacement for Steve McClaren, "We are always looking everyday you know,"
"Gerry Francis," I suggested, then the lift doors opened.
There is one thing I'll say about the QPR press team, they are very approachable and always make you feel welcome. A few handshakes and hellos and we sat down.
Paul Morrissey introduced Charlie Austin, Harry Redknapp and Robert Green, Phillip Beard took the microphone and told the fans the latest on the training ground and new stadium then left the Manager and players to field questions.
They were honestly answered which of course is the idea!
I asked about Remy and Adel coming back, the gaffer made it clear he wants them gone and the youngsters are welcome back!
This is what a fans forum is all about; the fans asking questions.
Some answers had more than a little humour while some of the questions had a little sarcasm; made for a relaxed evening.

While Harry entertained, Rob Green let us into a little bit of what went on last season; one most Rangers fans will want to forget. What's nice about Greeno is he is a very quiet unassuming man who believes in team work and working hard; he looked almost embarrassed when the clean sheet record was mentioned.
It was over all too soon and sadly, unlike the last forum, the players left straight away. Staying around for a photo and signing an autograph would have only taken ten minutes but apart from that a great evening.
Well done QPR; as fans these little interactions with the club makes us feel much more part of it.
Looking forward to the next one already!
