It's a no brainer!

It was great to see Charlie Austin finally get off the mark against Birmingham; no more than he deserves for all the work he's put in. The question has to be who partners the former Burnley striker?

Ideally it will be Andy Johnson but we are all aware of his injury problems; we'll be lucky if he plays in twenty three of the forty six games! I'm not having a go at him, he's a very good player but age and injuries have caught up with him.

Then there is good old Bobby Zamora, his form is out the window. It's early in the season and he looks as if he's played fifty games already! At best Bobby should be given twenty minutes at the end of the game and only if we are leading by three or four goals!
Now Harry Redknapp has said he's worried about two of his three strikers not making it through the season and wants to loan a forward to help with the promotion push. Harry Kane is said to be high on the list; as are others as Redknapp will always be in the transfer market.
Harry Kane is a raw twenty year old tipped for the top and is very much third choice striker at Spurs.
We have our very own striker already at the club and he's scoring goals for fun! He scored on his debut; a dream for a front man. On Monday he scored another two for the EDS side.
Of course I'm talking about Tommy Hitchcock who is on fire this season. If Harry is picking the team on form then surely he has to give this young man a chance?
I fail to see the difference between the two youngsters: why loan in one when we have one all ready and raring to go!

The Manager may also consider changes at the back with the arrival of Ekotto; whose place would he take? None of the back four should be dropped after only conceding two goals in six games.
Tom Carroll looked a little lost against Birmingham and with Kranjcar fit it’s another one for Harry to think about.
As a fan this is what I want to see; competition for the eleven places on the field and even the bench!
I do hope Harry sees the light and picks Hitchcock over Zamora; its a no brainer!
