eight out of ten

If ever there was a game of two halves then this was it. We just didn't 'click' in the first half, passes went astray and the tempo of the game was generally too slow. The only highlight was a Barnsley defender clearing a header off the line.
Harry didn't change a winning side which surprised me, personally I'd like to see someone up top with Charlie Austin; I'm a firm believer in two up front, especially at home.
The second half started pretty much as the first ended, we needed a spark, a player or players to take the game by the scruff of the neck!
Enter Junior Hoilett, the 'game changer,' when he came on it gave the whole team a lift.
I have to admit to looking over to Rob Green on the odd occasion and the more the game went on the more nervous he looked. He had that 'expectant father' look on his face.
Down the other end Hoilett went on a little run, cutting in on the byline, past two of the opposition's defenders and laid a perfect ball on for Charlie Austin who made no mistake as he sidefooted into the net.
It was the goal we needed and with twenty five minutes left I felt we could really up our goal difference.
Peter 'Rambo' Ramage was given a great reception by the QPR fans when he was subbed; he clapped our fans more than his own!
Charlie Austin got the ball in the penalty area and to me looked as if he waited for a clumsy challenge; a Tykes defender kindly obliged and the referee gave a penalty which was put away by the man who was fouled.
As time ticked on all eyes moved to Rob Green; the record was so near and yet so far!
The final whistle was blown and another three points plus our very own record breaker!

The QPR stopper hasn't conceded a goal in seven hundred and eighty five minutes and that was away to Huddersfield in the second game of the season!
We can play better but points are what we're after. Harry has said you need to average two points a game to stand any chance of promotion; we are six points ahead of that after ten games; we've only dropped four points all season!
We asked on facebook and twitter for the fans' man of the match; no less than eight players were mentioned showing we are playing well as a team.
Millwall up next; that will be fun!
