D-Month – Match 3 – Fulham at home

QPR

Having just set an all time Premier League record, QPR will be wanting to stop the flow of games without a win. 16 games without a win is bad enough by anyone's standards, especially being the only team out of all divisions without that win. On a positive note, Harry extended the unbeaten run with three draws, the best we've had since Warnock was in charge! This has to ignite some sort of passion in the players. Most have shown they are ready and waiting for that first win, I can see a floodgate being opened once we taste victory, and what better way to start it than at home to our closest neighbours! Foolham won't want to be the first team we beat, but this should give our players that extra incentive to grab a victory!

Fulham

Fulham have lost 4 of their last 6 games, they beat Newcastle 2-1 at home on Monday night, before that they had been defeated 3-0 at home against Tottenham. Their star player has to be Dimitar Berbatov, however, they haven't scored since their match on the 18th November until last night and that's nearly one month ago!  Fulham have won just one away game this season, against Wigan, so they will be hoping to defeat QPR at Loftus Road to humiliate us as well as earn those 3 points. Brede Hangeland should be available after returning from suspension as well as Alexander Kacaniklic, who has proven to be a good player for them this season.

My Prediction

I can see this as our first win. It seems the stage is set, Fulham struggling away from home, QPR gunning for the first win. To make it an even more tastier affair, it's a derby game. I am predicting a 3-1 victory for QPR. Two goals from Jamie Mackie and one coming from Ryan Nelsen. Ryan Nelsen will be key for the R's after a brilliant performance both defensively and offensively against Wigan. Berbatov will find his scoring boots too. We will go one down early on and score all three in the 2nd half after 'Arry gives them all an ear-bashing!
